Hello dear readers of my humble blog!

Today I will just write a short post, for time is precious and sparse. As some of you probably know already: last week Friday was my birthday. Although I didn’t see much purpose in celebrating the fact that I became 26 (twenty-six!!) I nevertheless thought that it would be a nice opportunity to have some beer and BBQ. So I arranged a little party in the garden behind my partent’s house and invited some friends.

Fortunately, my parents succeeded in persuading me that getting old is not that bad. (They are both 54). Therefore I could enjoy the party.

Further plans for today include a concert by Flogging Molly (Irish Folk-Rock), a group which I recommend very much. Although I have to go there alone (not exactly…I hope that there will be more spectators than just me) I think that I will definitely enjoy it. They are playing in Saarbrücken (the capital of the Saarland).

As I announced in the header already: this post is short. Therefore no more babbling.

I realised just now again that I am a bracket user. I like to give superfluous extra information which is contained in brackets. It’s cool for blogging but not good in essays. Just to make myself aware…
